About the Event
If you are curious about their nesting habits, behaviors, what they eat, the environment they live in, how big they get, and how we can better protect them, you won’t want to miss this program! You’ll learn the answers to these questions and more, along with ways we can help protect their nesting environments on our beautiful barrier islands. This free educational program is hosted by BIPS and Friends of Stump Pass to raise awareness, foster stewardship and preservation of the sea turtles that nest on our local beaches every year. We hope you’ll join us! Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, water, bug repellent and $3 for FL State Park Use Fee.
