FRIENDS OF BIPS

Barrier Island Parks Society is the official citizen-support organization (CSO) for four state parks and has been since 1989.  What most do not know is there are 87 aligned with the Florida Park Service and we are one of the largest in the state. Another unknown fact is that most CSOs are aligned with one state park and we are aligned with four. Gasparilla Island Administration, the Florida State Park’s office in the Assistant Keeper’s House is  responsible for managing them and we support each one.
