Wading Adventures Undercover

Let’s explore Charlotte Harbor Estuary with Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium! BIPS created this unique Wading Adventures to meet Florida Sunshine State Standards of Education through STEAM based initiatives. We then partnered with Mote in 2017 and launched this in-depth, science-based program that explores the intricate relationship between humans and the environment and ways our activities impact ecosystems and habitats. The adventure includes wading and gathering marine life to examine through magnified viewers, as well as interactive learning stations.

This program is open to people ages 5 to 99.  Waders will go into shallow water up to waist high. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please remember water shoes, sunscreen, and a hat.
